An Exploration in Self-Devastation

This campaign was created to bring attention to the social behavior of youth who choose to act first before realizing that a simple action can have a spiral and lasting effect on their life. The impact can range from reducing future employment, social stigmatization and ostracization, images being turned in permanent files, and embarrassment among close family and friends. 

Why use fruit images? 

The usage of fruit employs two different meanings: the first meaning of the fruit is to have the viewer recognize the image as the actual fruit; and secondly the subconscious mind translates the image into a sexual symbol of the body part, which is a new trend youth are using with fruit emojis. This brings out the association that occurs within the human mind of deviance which is an unspoken reality.
